What is Tazret gel used for?

Tazret Gel is a topical medicine used for the treatment of acne and plaque psoriasis (red, itchy, and scaly patches on your skin) in adults.

Inform your doctor if any of these side effects persist or become severe. Avoid using this medicine if you are allergic to it. Tazret Gel is meant for external use only. Wash and dry the affected area and apply a thin layer of this medicine. Do not apply more than the required quantity.

Avoid contact with the eyes, nose, and mouth. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water.

Do not cover the affected area with bandages or other dressing unless instructed by your doctor to do so. Inform your doctor if the symptoms do not improve within four weeks of using this medicine. Tazret Gel is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age as the safety and efficacy data are not available.

How To Use? Use Tazarotene gel, strictly according to your doctor's direction or according to the instructions on the medication label.

A pea-sized amount of cream/cream enough to apply to the whole affected area is generally advised. Do not alter the dosage unless your doctor advises you to do so.

Also, do not use this medication after the prescribed period is over. All medications come with a patient leaflet. Refer to the instructions in them for detailed information on that medication. Wash and pat dry the affected area completely. Gently rub in the medicine into the skin until it is evenly distributed. Wash off the medicine from the hands.

Do not wrap or cover or bandage the area. Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. Apply it religiously once in a day in the morning and evening so as the acne scars heal faster.

Proper care of the infected area is necessary. Time to time application of the gel will prove beneficial and will speed up the healing procedure.
